In 2001, Ron Tetley and Kip Nussbaum were introduced to each other through a mutual acquaintance. They soon realized they had many of the same interests, values, and career aspirations. By 2002, their friendship quickly grew into a working relationship where they collaborated on numerous business projects, which led to an informal partnership that began in 2003. In March 2005, Ron and Kip consolidated their three offices into one, forming an insurance agency called Creative Retirement Planning, LLC.
Since then, Ron and Kip have been serving clients in Akron and beyond through retirement planning along with investments, advanced tax planning, and more. They are committed to improving the lives of their clients as creatively as possible.

Ron is a well-known financial advisor in Akron, Ohio. Since 1994, Ron has focused on helping individuals avoid common, costly financial mistakes. The majority of his time is spent meeting with prospective and established clients. Ron resides in Wadsworth, Ohio, with his wife, Teresa. Together, they have four children.
Kip Nussbaum is a licensed insurance agent who entered the financial and benefits industry in 2001. Kip is experienced in tax, income, and asset protection planning. His duties include marketing, bookkeeping, business planning, and operational management. Kip is an avid sports fan and invests countless hours as a Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach. He resides in Orrville with his wife, Lisa, and their three children.
Kristina is pursuing a career in retirement, estate planning, and secretarial work for Creative Retirement Planning LLC. Before she came to work at Creative Retirement, she primarily did mortgage and title work. Kristina has her mortgage and notary licenses. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys spending time with family, her two dogs, cat, and parrot, as well as reading books, kayaking, fishing, and traveling overseas.
